Salve Duplito is the founder and the president of Empower and Transform, a young company composed of a dynamic team of content creators, writers, television producers, directors, and development workers.
Salve -- the company’s number one Transformer -- is an experienced and award-winning financial journalist and influencer, known for her advocacy to uplift the marginalized by creating financial literacy content. She is one of the prime movers in this area, starting in the early ‘90s when the Philippine financial education sector was still in its nascent stages. Her passion in explaining the most complicated concepts in the clearest, simplest way possible has made her a sought-after public speaker, delivering hours of workshops all over the Philippines and around the world.
She has also demonstrated her leadership in the Philippine personal finance space by bringing together experts in different areas in personal finance in curated platforms, events, or advocacies, and through her show in the ABS-CBN News Channel called On The Money.
Before joining the media, Salve worked as a communications consultant and writer for organizations like the World Bank, a USAID-funded program called EQUALLS2, and the Asian Development Bank. She also worked for two decades as a financial journalist for publications like the Philippine Daily Inquirer, the Inquirer Interactive, and the BusinessWorld, winning prestigious awards for her articles like the Jaime V. Ongpin Awards for Investigative Journalism, EJAP/Metropacific Banking and Finance Reporter of the Year, and the Citibank Award for Excellence, among others.

Ruffy has over 20 years of experience as a professional writer and editor.
Aside from his role in Empower and Transform, he also co-founded Tagline Communications Consultancy, Inc. where he currently sits as Content Director in-charge of managing content development, publications management, and website development projects for various clients.
He started his communications career working for major print, broadcast, and online media outlets such as the BusinessWorld and GMA-7 as news reporter and editor, and later leveraged his skills to deliver communication targets for the Asian Development Bank and the International Organization for Migration, as well as local cause organizations and corporate clients.

Alix is a fresh mind with four years of experience as a freelancer in the digital advertising industry. She has mainly worked as a director, production designer, and stylist in numerous digital advertisements and music videos.
Before she started working professionally, she produced numerous short films during her time in film school at the University of the Philippines-Diliman.
Alix pairs her creativity and film-making skills with her ability to spot popular trends to lead Empower and Transform's branding and help shape projects to appeal to popular audience groups. She is directly involved in producing videos and other content for Empower and Transform’s social media channels.

Guddy has 21 years of experience in production, starting out as VTR playback operator and musical scorer for lifestyle shows like Showtime and ASAP at the ABS-CBN and finally as news program director at the ABS-CBN News Channel.
Today, he heads the technical team for award-winning shows such as Market Edge, Matters of Fact, and Headstart. When the pandemic struck, his team pivoted towards digital news production, creating seamless news programs via Zoom and other platforms.

Jam is a woman of passion and excellence. Her first job as a customer service representative allowed her to embrace a customer centric approach in doing business. As a communication graduate, Jam is capable of communicating with different people across markets and platforms. She is an experienced professional in the media industry managing brands from print, television, on-ground, and digital media. She champions project management for partnerships and marketing campaigns with successful projects in her badge.

Julian has worked in different fields within media and journalism, particularly in print and television. He was the Managing Editor of Philippine-based advertising and creativity publication, adobo magazine, and also produced and wrote shows for the ABS-CBN News Channel. Currently, he is also the social media manager of Transformation.

Ralf started his professional career as a project officer under the Office of the President during the Philippine hosting of the APEC meetings in 2015 and as project manager during the ASEAN meetings in 2017. Ralf played an integral role as part and in some meetings as team lead of the conference management services in-charge in the preparation of all meetings including high-level (Leaders and Ministers) meetings. He also served as project officer at the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) in 2016.
After his stint in the government, Ralf joined the development sector as a project officer for non-government organizations such as Junior Achievement Philippines, Inc. (JAPI) and the Center for Strategic Reforms of the Philippines (CSR-PH) which both promotes financial literacy and entrepreneurship.
In his role as a Project Manager at Empower and Transform, Ralf leads the execution of select projects and campaigns while providing administrative support to the company's President and CEO.
The idea started from a little girl with a big heart and a big dream. While working hard to build her brand in the business and finance industry, Salve always had those who were less fortunate in her mind; always wondering how they, too, will be able to experience what the wealthy have – financial freedom and empowerment.
Salve grew up in a small town in Bicol supported by her single mother who tirelessly worked to stretch a public school teacher’s meager salary to make ends meet for a family of seven. Salve and her siblings were taught not to let their financial situation prevent them from pursuing a good education and career. After graduating from the University of the Philippines as a UP-Government scholar, Salve endeavored to understand the business and finance landscape – climbing her way up to become one of the most prominent figures in the Philippine financial literacy industry.
To this day, her experiences growing up in Bicol drive her to use financial education to help Filipinos transform their lives.
This is her fulfilling that dream.
